Ethics and Integrity in Business should be FREE

In the complex world of business, every one is involved in a competition that only calls for the best and the wise. People in the business world are living in a dimension that goals are considered sacred and everything is employed just to reach them. In this cutthroat world, business people still need to uphold good manners and ethical standards to ensure stability.

Businessmen might be wondering why they will need to be honest and ethical when they can profit more money if they are not. Business is an entity run by money so profits should be the ultimate goal. It is like a Machiavellian principle that you must practice if you want to make your business last long. Sad to say, these paradigms are totally wrong. Though profit is the ultimate consideration of any business, ethics and proper behavior must still be observed.

Honesty- When people do business dealings with each other, honesty is the only thing that both sided are relying to at that moment. Though there is a written agreement about the sanctions of the deal, the success of the enterprise will still rely to the honesty of both sides. If they lived up to their word and kept their part of the deal, then it is indeed a triumphant deal.  As you can see, if you are honest with all the people that you deal with, you will earn for yourself a good reputation. This positive mind set about you will serve as an advertisement that will attract other dealers to you because they are assured that you give them a good deal. Honesty is just one of the business ethics that one must always exercise. Here are other values that a businessman shall posses.

Integrity- This is perhaps the most significant value that a businessman should have. When honesty deals with other people, integrity involves one’s own self. When you hold yourself responsible for all the things that you have done, then you posses a great air of integrity. Integrity is what brings about trust from your colleagues and customers as well. Take for example, an education business. Education is something that should be free for all but if you are an owner of a private school that has integrity, you must make sure that the quality of education that is offered in your school is worth the money that they will pay you. Integrity will set you apart from the others and will give you a positive image among others.

Trust- Trust others as much as you trust yourself. Though it is hard to trust others when it comes to business dealings, having with your business partners gives them the idea that you are trustworthy too. This makes your partnership or corporation more solid as you have built bonds with them not only as business partners but also as friends. Trust will make everything easier as you work not only with the best of your resources but with the best of your spirits as well.

Business ethics are important dogmas in the business world. It create stability and you must always uphold them if you want to create a lasting impression that will bring you more opportunities.

Top Level asks - Is 3D the next generation of platform?

Three dimensional images- Once, this term only refers to a kind of drawing that artists can do. Now, fast forward to the twenty first century, three dimensional images are the new ‘in’ thing. Surely, you have seen the movie ‘Avatar’ and you have dismissed it as just another kiddie film. Yet, this movie has stunned the whole world with its futuristic effects, great cinematography, and of course, a good three dimensional effect. No doubt, three dimensional imaging will witness a good decade ahead of it.

Three dimensional imaging, more popularly known as 3D is technically defined as the cubic representation of a figure. When used for media purposes, 3d gives an illusion of ‘absorbing’ the audience and the audience feels that they like ‘inside’ the scenes. It gained popularity because of its peculiarity by then, and also, the people are hungry for something that is new. Up to now, three dimensional films are always anticipated.

3D is not only used in motion pictures, it is also employed in television. TV shows can now spice up their programs with 3D effects that are seen through a 3D glass. More and more shows are using this kind of effect because viewers can readily relate to it and 3D on TV is quite a new perspective. This practice has spanned countries from across the world and the TV industry is no doubt dominated by 3D. Nonetheless, TV shows with 3D effects are mostly those that are in fantasy or variety show category. TV dramas maintained their format and none is known yet to employ 3D effects in their episodes.

Not only TV and films, there are also those who are in board of the 3D craze. Though it is hard to see 3D effects in print, they still found a way to incorporate it in their publications. Like with the TV, it also became an instant hit and it sparked off the magazine 3D dominion.

As people may infer, three dimensional imaging in motion pictures, television, and in print might be just a fad. Like any other effects that are incorporated to increase the commercial value, some experts predicts that this 3D era in media will soon end. Some disadvantages of three dimensional imaging include its complexity and the audience cannot feel or see it without special tools. Unlike a very well created film with good special effects and graphics, the audience can appreciate it without his 3D glasses on. But as far as this generation is concerned, 3D is not a fad at all. Soon, we will see it in every media paraphernalia that we lay our hands on and set our eyes upon. This can be a good sign of an advanced technological age and it allows the people to foresee the future gadgets that will be invented to astound us. Needless to say, technology not only made our lives easier, it also paved the way for more enjoyable relaxation.

Yes He Can

The Future

I stop to dream if for only a moment that Barak Obama can actually win this election. I know he’s ahead in many polls and I know the media and many of his followers are already proclaiming him the victor .. but hold on .. Fellas don’t start makin in rain in your office and Ladies I wouldn’t start planning what you’re gonna do next year Nov 5th when President Obama  declares it Obama Mama’s Day

Do me a favor .. let’s not celebrate just yet and do ourselves a favor and FOCUS ..Let’s wrap this baby up .. kick the tires and light the fires .. Get this man to the finish line .. and then .. Only after every ballot has been counted (3 times) only after every machine has failed and finally after everyone has been paid off.

Only then if we’re lucky .. our new President will be Barak Obama

The best man for our country …

Is it Really that BAD?

I’ve owned my web design business in Hawaii for about 5 years and Hawaii, while being a very friendly state ..  is not a small business friendly state .. BUT I can honestly say I haven’t really felt this historic crash of business. Franklin Delano Roosevelt said “the only thing to fear is fear itself”. I think all this expressed anxiety in the Media is bad for business, and just stimulates more anxiety.

Our problems today while very serious are NOTHING compared to those of the past … Let’s not scare ourselves and our consumers into REALLY hard times.

I say this with a lot of LOVE … Shut up Mr. Media and America .. Let’s Work Harder!

It certainly can’t hurt

Mistakes of First Time Web Designers

Okay so here we go, anyone who has ever designed a site has made one or more of these mistakes .. Come with me and let’s go down the list.

Using Frames
Often web designers break up the browser window with separate sub-windows. These divisions are called frames. Although frames are supposed to help web visitors navigate easier, frequently they just confuse them. When clicking on an item to move forward, visitors are uncertain what information will appear where, or in what sub-window. Another difficulty is many framed web sites depend on specific screen sizes. When a visitor with a different sized screen tries to view the framed page, all of the site’s information may be garbled or misplaced. Designers who insist on using frames should create a no-frame version of their site, as well, for the people who prefer it.
